I heard that Dr Shivers was making a comeback this year--think it was on the Gemmy 2011 thread under the Prop Section, so you might want to hold off on that until he is in the channels.

As for the witches, I've sometimes been lucky to find some of the older props on sale at Spirit Halloween in the first few days that they are open for the season. Craig's List for your area might also be a place to check out so you don't have to pay for shipping. Witches are such a popular prop I'm sure there are plenty being sold.

Y0u are sooo right on Ghost of Spookie! Although this thread was started in 2008 - it really shows how much we Forum members hold out hope for great props!! Looks like Grandin Road has Dr. Shivers this year! Pricey - but we have been waiting years for his return, right?!
