Hmmm. The buy it now is $79, the shipping is $45. That makes it $124 total. I'd say buy the ebay one. Especially before I get tempted.
Sounds like Frighteners Entertainment has the same supplier, and he just copied it off this person's listing. At least that's what I assume.

    I probably do?
Though, if this is a drop shipper, you'll find you may not get support on damaged items.

I would say out of the last 18 pieces I received, 12 had damages, some minor and a couple pretty bad.

Frightners is here in Michigan with me...The ebay guy is in NJ. That description may just be what the manufacturer sends with the mannequins, may just be standard.

Frightners has an EXCELLENT reputation around this forum AND others. If this is what he says is the cost, he is not trying to pull anything. He may have a much higher cost than that ONE other guy. Trust me, look around eaby, tell me what the AVERAGE price of male mannequins are, probably $150+ship and they will RAPE you on shipping, it's generally double actual cost.

Frightners was the FIRST guy to tell everyone NOT to buy his glue sticks for his web guns as his were too high priced, he passed it on to another vendor, knowing he was losing revenue...thats only one instance, check the forum, you will find more from him. I don't know of another vendor that would do anything like that. So give him a break, buy the one on ebay if thats what you want to do, it wont hurt him as many of us have, will or are going to do business with Frightners as we know what he is all about.

hi, if you are still looking for mannequins. My wife was a visual manager with JC Penny and with Macy's - you'd be surprised what they have laying around beyond repair. they are expensive so they often have them repaired, however some are determined to be beyond repair. go into any large retailer and ask for the visual manager. plead your case and you may walk out with a few that work great for Halloween but not in storefront window display. maybe even for free or a very mild token fee, like ten bucks. try asking, it works.

I just went to a Dillards in Tampa today. They're in the end stages of an entire store liquidation. I Got a bunch of mannequins, Whoo Hoo!! I talked to the guy running it and he said he's got these sales going on all over the country. Here's the link so you can get a list & pics of the store's & types of merchandise that will be available. Good luck, hope this helps someone. mannequins - you guys are nuts to pay for them.
My ex wife is in retail (a larger department store chain)
I have shared this before with another person who took my advice went to a local Dillards and was GIVEN all he could carry off.
Go to any or all your local large retailers - ask for the Visual manager - tell her what you are doing, mention you also help charity - she will have several that are somewhat broken - not good for store floor or window use - but ok for Halloween - chances are she will GIVE them to you or maybe ask you for ten bucks.
