I was reading the post below

    Zombie Fogger

....and it reminded me that I wanted to do something similar, but ran out of time this year. Now I have time for next year! I want to have my fog running out of a breached 55 gallon drum, painted up like the biohazard drums from the classic zombie movies ala "Day of the Dead".

I'm keeping an eye on Craigslist, but in the meantime does anyone know where I could score a cheap 55 gallon drum? Preferably metal or paper, so I can paint it with biohazard symbols.....

There are different ways you can create the barrel. If you do not find a metal 55 gallon drum around you or on craigs list, you could use wood or foam to create it. Foam would give you more ability to make it round, buying sheet metal and then creating the barrel that way would probably be cheap, just need to be able to form it into a circular barrel looking object.

Here is an example of a foam barrel http://www.youtube.com/user/Stiltbea.../0/KyiobZo_UuM
You get the general idea and can form it how you want and detail it if you want or not.

Another out of foam: Almost Free Foam Barrels

Where are you located? Maybe someone who lives in your area can give you an idea of where to get/find one or maybe someone has some extras they might be willing to give away.

You should be able to pick one up via Craigslist or call any local construction company and see if they have any on hand. We've used plastic 55 gal barrels for our toxic room and they were all picked up free! They also work very well come the end of the season for storage purposes!

    Good luck.
