Yes It is very cool.
I just have pumpkin scene setters that I use. This is so much more elegant though. I wonder how you get it to stay....

That looks sweet! But for the price way to expensive. This is what we used for our wall for our Halloween Party for 2009 and 2010. We love it and it was only 11.99. Will take up a good portion of your wall too.
Here it is. A Haunted House backdrop.

You could also ask a printer how much to get a banner printed with a black and white image - for whatever size you're looking for. If you could take a really good black and white pic (or find stock art) that was high resolution (at least 300 dpi and measuring at around 8 x 10 inches) then a printer that specialize in signage (the guys that do things like billboards and banners) have software and large-format printers that can extrapolate the image so it can be blown up HUGE and not look like a blurry mess.
As long as you're starting out with a highres image that isn't tiny, they can do amazing things with it, but it does require a printer with large format capabilities.
And I would think it would be near that price to get your own custom piece. Wouldn't hurt to call around and tell them what you want and see how much it would cost...I'm a Halloween Bride! 10/31/2002

It comes in 6 pieces that you have to fit together. Once its up the effect is awesome! We had tons of our guests taking their pictures in front of it! It was a big hit at our party

Must be mine!!! PotteryBarn Wall Mural

This price is a lot less than other stores I have seen online today. Not to mention the coolness factor has to be worth part of that 199. lol
