Here is a quick and easy way to spook TOTrs walking by your storm drains!


First find yourself some self powered Pc speakers and duct tape them so that they fit in the front of the storm drain.


you will need a small Mp3 player for sound. i bought mine at Rite Aid for around 25 bucks.


Next get some coat hanger wire and bend it in a V shape. then on the ends of the wire bend them in a hook to catch the metal so it wont fall in the storm drain. now duct tape the wire hook and the mp3 player to the pc speakers.



now you're able to slip the speakers inside the storm drain


make sure that your hooks catch so that the speakers dont fall in!


Also make sure your speakers don't touch the floor of the storm drain..they just hang there.


Quick tips.
make sure that the speakers you use are small enough to fit in the front of the storm drain

make sure that you turn on the mp3 player and speakers before you put into the storm drain.

make sure that the Mp3 player has a repeat mode and that it is set to it.

don't use sounds with music in the background.

best sounds to use are grunts,growls,voices, whispers. etc

i recommend the sound file deadkids under the best of the best folder!

the cool thing about this is that your not just haunting your own storm drain...YOUR HAUNTING YOUR WHOLE NEIGHBORHOOD!!
remember that your storm drain are connected to every other storm drain in your neighborhood so the sound will travel to the other storm drains!
we found this out from our neighbors who were walking and said they heard it and it freaked them out we walked about 2 blocks and we could still faintly hear it!

That is the most novel idea in a long time... I love it LOL I bet it freaks the heck out of the kids. My kids and I call storm drains "IT" holes, so yes it would freak us out big time

Hmm, we don't have storm drains, but we have a ditch in the front yard with a tube (critter expressway) that does under our driveway - this would work there, too! Muahahaha!
