I made this last year for my haunted house and it was GREAT! This thing is SURE to SCARE!!!!

Ok. first you take a normal electric bathroom deoderizer as shown in the pic below.

    Then you remove the cover.

Next you remove the top face plate exposing the motor and wires.

Now remove the circut board. you wont need it any more.

Ok. now solder the ground from your batteries directly to the ground from the motor.

You can hook the positives together through a switched source, motion, sound, etc... this will activate the device. For this post i have hooked it up to a momentary switch. Once you get that hooked up replace the control cover and batteries and put a can of silly string in place of the bathroom fragrance.

replace the cover, hide the device and let the fun begin.

I have posted a video below of the device in action. the momentary switch is just for demo purpose and can either be extended to get you far away from the device or can be replaced by any number of other triggers that don't require your participation.

Click on the image below for the video.

    ENJOY!

I had built a huge 4 foot long by 2.5 foot tall spider with animatronic head and a huge web. all lit with black light. I hid the device in the bush which was about 2 feet away and placed it so the shot would go over the heads of the tots. I didnt want the spray to hit them. As they came in for a closer look My wife who was near the display and could wait till the perfect time would activate it. it scared adults and children alike.

You could absolutely motion sensor it. You just put the motion sensor in the place on the switch. This is self powered so all you need is something to make a momentary connection. Ie. Any of several different sensors. Motion, sound ect.
