Okay, this was WAY easier than I thought!
1: I used a Dremmel to cut the post that the fan blades would attach to.
2: I use chicken wire to create a shell to keep the mask off the body of the fan and it also helps to fill out the mask so it doesn't have a sunken in look.
3: I cut a hole in the wire where the back fan cover would have been put on and slid that over the big threaded part of the front of the fan and screwed the piece on that would have held the fan case. This made the wire cage stay on sooo much better then just having it sit there.
4: I put the modified mask on (my beautiful wife added the "toxic waste" to the eyes) and cut a hole in the back for better motor ventilation.
Tell me what you all think!
Thank you so much to all of you who have given us ideas and advice!

Thanks so much for posting this! This looks great and may even be one I can do. I luckly have the stuff to do it with and am going to finally try my hand at making one. Your pictures really help, I am new at all this and needless to say looking at how things are put together make a huge difference.
Thanks again!

great prop! I'm surprised you don't have issues with the motor heat. I know a couple of people who did this, and they had to shut it off a little each hour to keep from overheating it. I guess the only thing keep the motors cool was the fan blades!
Feels like...somebody just walked over my grave. Did you find it?
