Hello,
Instead of using a 9 volt battery can you use a 9 volt addaptor that plugs into a 110 outlet?

I know but the only reason i use the 9V battery is to make Bucky more .......portable so i can throw him out in the middle of my graveyard with no wires running to him.......

If you have a 12 volt transformer for yard lighting you can run leads off of the cable the same as he did with the 9v battery. just make sure to solder the positive ends of the led's into the resistor. I've been building micro spot lights the smae way, and they work great.

In 2008 my haunt started tripping two of my circuit breakers and I got tired of running to the electrical pannel. Between that inconveince and my laziness about not unsnapping all the 9V batteries powering the LED eyes in my monsters, I knew it was time for a change.
I found REALLY inexpensive LEDs on ebay, in all colors and prewired with resistors for 12v. Why 12V? because all Malibu Lights transformers are 12 Volt and one transformer puts out more power than you will ever need for your LEDs.
There are a bunch of different ebay sellers offering lots of different colors prewired for 12V. I have well over 100 running off one transformer. They are all spliced together using speaker wire cause it's cheap and it works. Another advantage is the transformer is controled by a timer, so lazy me is now out of the 9v collection and replacement business.
Search "LED 12v 5mm" and you will find 1513 offerings. One example: 50 red 5mm LEDs for $11.86 including shipping or 100 red for $19.99
Below you see some of the red, yellow, cyan, purple and even UV LEDs. All the LED you see, and more are powered by by one transformer.
