So now you should have this:
Step 7:
Using your reference photo, take your red acryllic paint and carefully apply the "warpaint" I did it freehand so it's not too straight, but it's not too bad.
Step 8:
Time to give this sucker some age! Take your black spray paint and lightly "dust" the mask all over. Next take a dab of brown acryllic paint on your paper towel, dip it in water and just barely brush the surface of the mask. You're going for something like this.
Once you have a good dirty look to it, take your black acryllic paint and dobble some on your paper towel. Get it wet and lightly run it downwards acrodd each hole and eyeholes. Something like this...
You wanna get that runny, black age look.
Step 9:
Once all that is dry, give it 2 to 3 coats of clear top coat. This will give it a nice shine.
Here is what mine looks like. Not to bad for a quick project.
Now the only question is do I leave it like this or add the famous axe cut?
I plan to go and get some leather straps and replace the masks original elastic ones.
