Use your garage as a theater to stage your Halloween productions. I did this year and it worked out very well!



You can use your automatic garage door opener as part of the show if you are using Brookshire software's VSA program. You can use a "Kit 108" board which is a relay device to control the door.

Most garage door openers has a switch box on the wall in addition to the remote controls. I just opened the box up and discovered that there are only two low voltage wires which control the opening of the door. You just have to extend these leads to the Kit 108 box and then use a VSA command to open and close your "curtain" on command! Works like a charm!

When you use your garage as the stage, you don't have to worry about the zit-faced local "tough guys" from vandalizing your show as well, so you can have it displayed on multiple nights.
