Default Part 4 of the Story

We got to the cemetery & sure enough the tombstone was gone by the pond & now rested under the oak tree where it is said the head was buried. I finally admitted to my friends that I saw "HIM" & they didn't believe me so I showed them the picture. It was enough that it made them want to investigate this further. So we planned to return to the cemetery after it closed.

Once again I had to walk down the dark path but at least I was not alone. We hid in the grove waiting & watching for anything. And then it happened - WE ALL SAW HIM! We froze with horror & no one even took a breath in fear that he would see us or hear us.

Finally coming to our senses we followed him thru the dark forest till he came to an abandoned house. He entered it. I figured it was a good time to call it a night, but my friends disagreed.

And so the plan was to enter the house. I was so scared I could barely move. We went up the hill & opened the gate & started down the walk when we heard a scream that scared the hell out of us.

We all grabbed each other. There had to be someone in there. We had to do something. So we swiftly moved. There was noise coming from the basement......why is it always the basement. We single filed down the stairs not knowing how this was gonna playout but someone needed help.

As we opened the door at the bottom of the stairs........there he was in all his glory with fresh meat on the cutting table & cleaver in hand to once again perform those dastardly deeds. He was back.

The man on the table was groggy but alive & the Butcher was getting ready to slice & dice.

BUT WAIT!!!>>>>>what was that in the dark background....Oh My God.......he had a child back there, that is who was screaming!

All of sudden we all felt like we were in a trance. It was hard to move. What was happening to us. Had the Butcher cast some spell over us.......did he know we were there?

He was ready to drop the cleaver on the man on the table & I could not move!

Here is the list of what we used & pictures of construction. The only thing we built for this was 3 skeleton cages, everything else we had on hand. We had the materials for the cages just had not gotten around to building them.

black plastic $12.99
beef netting $28.00 I only used a few yards
scene setters $24.99
1 fence panel from my cemetery fence
the mad doctor $39.99
the purple skeleton $12.00
the fog dish $24.99
misc. bottles & jars saved from the kitchen & some antique
misc. body parts & rodents $30.00
tables & clothes closet we had
masks & wigs $25.00 after 75% off after halloween
7 styro heads $3.49 each
greenery, leaves , etc. $35.00 I had
oil lamps & candle holders, candelabras $50.00
cats $ 17.99
owl $2.00 after halloween special
nic nacs on table $25.00
chandelier $10.00 Goodwill
meat coat & cleaver had that from Jerry's meat cutting job
3 bucky's $3.00 each after halloween special

the only thing we made were the skeleton cages
pvc pipe $20.00
plywood $12.00
black spray paint $3.00 per can
nails $3.00

Total $412.38

Jake - borrowed neighbor child
Joe, my hubby - cost me 3 "do not bother me today passes"
Jerry, my ex - cost me an agreement contract....."I don't have to build any halloween stuff from Jan. 2009 to June of 2009"

( I lied but only because I know he'll misplace the contract!)

Also a very special thank you to Jake....I had someone scheduled to help us & at the last minute they could not make it so I went looking for a kid. You guys know I don't know any neighbors here. I knew there was this nice woman who comes at Halloween with her kids so I went over to her house to see if I could borrow her son. We lucked out & Jake came to the rescue at the last minute. He looks really good in the pictures.

Below is our newspaper entry & some construction photos.
