Well I kept saying I wanted to expand my haunt this year into the garage.......everybody around here laughed at that cause the garage has been a mess ever since I moved into this new house. With us doing all the building of my commercial kitchen for the candy business, everything else got put on hold & its still holding. You all have seen pictures of the mountains of boxes in my garage that go to the ceiling!
If I was to enter this competition, man I'm not sure I could pull it off by August but it might give me the motivation to get that garage cleaned up. I wanted to have my stuff built in there by mid September so this would be just getting done a little bit sooner & it would be out of the way for Halloween so we would have more time to work on other stuff. I gotta think this one over. If we would not have been in the coffin contest I would still be sitting here with no coffin so I still am thankful to everybody that we had that competition.
Even tho Jerry built the coffin I paid for everything & ran him all over kingdom come to find stuff he was looking for plus the time invested in me nurturing him along>>>>>"Comon Jerry Hurry!!". You guys don't know this but he is an active member on this board.....he just doesn't type.......but most times he is sitting here & I'm either showing him something you guys put on here or I'm reading different threads to him. We are both Halloween nuts.

So that means if I take a picture of a graveyard, I can use that?

Your Official Entry:
Your thread must contain one post that is the official entry that contains:
- 1 picture of the completed project
- 1-2 pictures of the project during creation.
- One picture MUST have your local newspaper with the date easily viewable to help verify that the scene was created for this contest.HalloweenForum.com Admin

Also, I know it said no alterations of the picture. But can we change the lighting of it a little or something simple like that?

You must create what you take a picture of. If you create the graveyard, then you can take a picture of it (and take pictures during construction with proof of date).
All lighting must be done in real life and cannot be altered in a graphics program. Creative lighting is encouraged.HalloweenForum.com Admin

Ok, so this scene that you are talking about has to be made by hand, everything in the image. Is that correct? And creative lighing, would having the camera in black and white only be acceptable or only allowing certain colors to appear?

"All entries must be created for the purpose of this contest. The scene may contain homemade or purchased props."
So you can use purchased props and/or homemade. However, the scene itself must be created for the purpose of this contest (you cannot use a picture from last Halloween).
Black and White is fine as long as it is originally taken as black and white (meaning not converted in your graphics program).HalloweenForum.com Admin
