I don't really understand the Newspaper thing. Do you want us to get it in our town news paper or just have the paper in the picture? I think that's what you mean?

does it need to be a news paper or could we just use a piece of paper with the date written on it with marker like a big 6/15/08 or something?

It should be a publication. Not a piece of paper. It is harder to fake.

Okay, So I have an idea. I can spend as much or as little as I need to, Right?
Can I hire or use someone else to create/build my scary scene?
Do I have to be the sole creator/builder of my scene?

It must be your entry created by you. The scene "itself" should be created by you. Items within the scene do not have to be created by you. (such as store purchased props).
