It was Christmas morning at the Deadwood house and everything seemed cheerful and merry...........
Charlie was wide-eyed over his shiny new bike, Sassy was overjoyed at getting the cuddly kitten she always wanted and Dad was thrilled with the new necktie he got.............
Hector hadn't opened his present yet, but he knew it had to be the tombstone boogie board he asked Santa for. Mom had yet to open her gift from Dad. He had told her she was getting something extra special that would make her feel really good. She just knew it had to be the fur coat she had been admiring all winter. As she ripped off the wrapping paper she was shocked to see that her gift was actually a "Wii Fit". Mom wanted to cry, but she put on her happy face and told Dad that she loved it. Finally, she couldn't take it any more and stormed out of the room, sobbing......
The Christmas Tree had seen how unhappy Mom was and told the Wreath that this wasn't the first time Dad had disappointed Mom, but this had to be the worst time.........
The Wreath flew into a rage, knowing that Mom should not be treated this way and that Dad needed to be taught a good lesson. So the Wreath grabbed Dad and tore him limb from limb.
Moral to the story: Don't give your wife exercise equipment as a gift or you might end up having a Scary Christmas too.

For my prop I took a basic wreath and added a round wood frame to the rear of it, then cut the teeth out of wood. After painting the teeth I attached them to the wood frame with screws. I then added the ping-pong ball/LED eyes.
For the rest of the scene I used props I already had bought or made. The Dad skeleton and the little girl skeleton are my skeleton Trick-or-Treaters, the Mom is my skeleton bride, the kid on the bike I bought after Halloween at Target, and the skeleton holding the unopened present is my skelly behind the tombstone that turns his head. (I just wrapped up his tombstone as a present.) I tried to detail the scene with discarded wrapping paper, opened gifts, and the decorated tree. I used clear fishing line attached to the ceiling and the skeleton's arms to pose them.

Love it!!! Great job!!!
Linus: You've heard about fury and a woman scorned?
Charlie Brown: Yes, I guess I have.
Linus: Well that is nothing compared to the fury of a woman who has been cheated out of tricks or treats!
