It's the older version and unless you had a 2500 chip you'd have to use a CD or mp3 player for the audio which is what I did on the one I do use in my haunt since I felt the sound was better and it gave me much more flexibility for the audio track. I never got around to using these and have since moved on to the 3 axis design.
