Each mailbox is custom made, no two are exactly alike. They start out as your average steel mailboxes, then molds are applied and paper mached to create these unique designs. Each one is then layered with many coats of latex paint; weatherproofing them for year of enjoyable outdoor use.

I also changed the name. More people seemed to be receptive of Spooky Mailboxes rather than Hell's Mailbox.

NOTE: These have not been submitted for approval to the Postmaster General (though the base mailbox is approved). Get the permission from your mailcarrier if you plan to use it for more than a decoration. I use mine, and my mail lady loves it!

Yes! The original mailboxes are approved by the postmaster general. I have no idea if it still qualifies with the modifications. If in doubt, ask your mailcarrier, that's what I did.
