Thread: Anyone near Hudson Valley NY, looking for lightly used props at good prices?

Hi everyone,

(This is my first post, so if I did something wrong, please be patient with me)

I live in the Hudson Valley in New York (Orange County), and I’m looking to sell off some of my collection of Halloween props. In this post, I’m listing the larger pieces first because they can get expensive to ship, which is why I’m looking for local members (in the Orange County NY/Hudson Valley area) so we can avoid shipping costs and hassles if we coordinate a pick-up/drop-off. If there is no interested party nearby, then I’ll put the items on e-bay.

All items are lightly used, but in very good (and working) condition. If you are nearby and have genuine interest, please email me and I can provide pictures and more details as necessary. I checked online, and the prices are less than 50% of the cost of new (before shipping costs):

These are fairly well-known items, but if you are not familiar with them, I can provide more detail:
--- Life-sized Autopsy Morgue guy $180
--- Gravely the Butler (5’ 4” tall) $140
--- Life-sized possessed zombie girl (wall hanging) - $90

The following items are originally from Gore-Galore. If you want to see a picture/price of new versions, you can find them for sale at thefearfather website:
--- Motorized "pierce head” torture box $175
--- Hammer-head torture box (requires compressed air) $175
--- “Lester” Cadaver/Corpse (life-size, foam) $120
--- “Chester” Cadaver/Corpse (life-size, foam) $120

Other items (again, a partial list):
--- 2 Spike-mounted Heads - $80 for both (originally from Gore-Galore)
--- Dr. Karlosi Think (Brain) Tank $40
--- Suit of armor – life-size $60
--- Tombstones (foam, nicely detailed) - 2 for $60
--- 4 bucky skeletons from American Anatomical Supplies (2 with stands) $50 each

Many more (smaller) items will be listed later, for now I just want to make sure I have time to move the larger items.
