This is just about as close as it gets in terms of Captain Kirk/"Michael Myers" replica masks, and I'm not just saying that to influence a sale. The Hoffman/Medley Kirk mask, commonly referred to as the "H.M.K.", is a $1,500.00 1975 Don Post Studios Captain Kirk mask replica made by Bryan Hoffman of Masket Case Studios (M.C.S.) and is a direct claypress of the most pristine 1975 Don Post Studios Captain Kirk mask still in existence, the "Medley Kirk", formerly owned by a couple named John and Jenny Medley, hence the name of their old Kirk mask and the name of the H.M.K. replica. The H.M.K. is the only replica mask in the history of the hobby to have direct lineage to the "Medley Kirk" and that lineage is painfully obvious in the detail of the H.M.K., even down to the tiny creases in the lips.

This listing is NOT for a finished copy, but for a blank (no paint, no hair - just a blank pull) that is being given to all 15 of the H.M.K. buyers, myself included, as a way to make up for some shortfalls in the form of lackluster communication and lengthy delays throughout the H.M.K. project. I'm asking $375.00 + shipping. As the buyer of this blank pull, you will have the freedom to have it finished, to your personal specifications, as a Kirk or Myers by your artist of choosing. I'll be more than happy to get you set up with a couple guys who I think will be best for the job. Here is my formerly finished H.M.K. that is getting a complete Kirky makeover by my good friend, Colin Mayne. This guy is currently awaiting a head full of authentic, 30+ year old 1970s Don Post Studios Kirk hair. The blank listed for sale in this ad will look like this, minus the paint and hair remnants, of course.



Bryan is supposed to be sending these blanks out very shortly, if he hasn't already started shipping them. I expect mine soon, although I am last in line (#15). If you'd like to lock the mask down for yourself, I will accept a good faith deposite of $50.00 - 100% refundable if things change on your end. The balance can then be sent after I get the mask in from Bryan.

As the ad states, I do not technically "have" the mask. I might have a buyer lined up for when I get the mask in from Bryan.
