Thread: Selling my Halloween Stuff

Well, hello all. This year has not been kind to me. I have had major medical problems. My medical bills are really pilling up and I am forced to sell all my Halloween stuff. I have put this off as long as I could, as I really did'nt want to have to do this. I'm now just getting back to getting on the forum again. In the past I would be on here at least twice a day. I went to my storage unit today and pulled out a few items to sell. I would prefer to sell locally, but I will ship the stuff also. I checked with UPS and the lifesize Gemmy items will cost about 45 dollars a piece to ship. I know this sounds high, but I don't set the prices on shipping. Here is what I have pulled out to sell first.

Gemmy lifesize Frankenstein Monster. This is the one with the exposed brain and heart. It is brand new in the box and never been opened. $75.00 +45.00 Shipping SOLD

Lifesize Pirate Skeleton. This is the one that moves the sword and holds the goblet. $75.00 +45.00 Shipping SOLD

Male and Female Mummies. $40.00 each and 25.00 shipping each SOLD

Lifesize animated Hunchback. Brand new in box and never opened. $45.00 and 25.00 shipping. SOLD

Animated Skeleton vendor. This was the one that Walmart sold a couple of years back. This one is still brand new in the box $45.00 and 25.00 shipping.
This is all I have pulled out of storage at the moment. As I sell these, I will go pull more out of storage.

Like I said, it breaks my heart to have to sell off my collection, but I have no choice and I know that they will find good homes from the members on here. I am just hoping that I can sell some locally, since shipping is so costly. If anyone knows of a cheaper way to ship these, please let me know.

Malibu, very sorry to hear of these recent events. If you can hold on until September, you will be in a good position to sell your stuff on Craigslist.

Well, I did'nt realize that I took a beating on my shipping. I was charging 45 dollars on my shipping and in turn, it cost me 69 dollars on my shipping.

malibuman, if there are any of these items remaining to be sold, go ahead and update your original post (#1 above) to include the price & what the actual shipping will be. Hate to see folks get soaked for shipping.

Ween12anEternal, I am hoping I have the shipping right for the rest of the items. I found out that what UPS's site tells you on the price, it is different in person. I never dreamed for example the pirate would cost me $69.47 just to ship. I have more of the Gemmy life size I will be selling, I just want people to know, that I am not trying to rip them off on shipping now.
