    Hello folks,
Last year, I took the time to neatly cut and assemble 2 life-size coffins, as well as a "creature crate". They were used once last Halloween and stored carefully. As of yesterday (6/1), they have been carefully disassembled into about 6 pieces each and are now being stored outside with more exposure to the elements.

The first is a larger, roomier coffin made of a heavier (maple?), thicker wood that I allowed to be weathered for 3 months for a rustic effect. It can accommodate a normal/thinner-sized person up to 6'3" I believe. Cost of materials was around $65.

The second is a smaller, shorter coffin made of softer, lighter pine. It was intentionally not weathered to appear freshly made, and it still appears "clean". A child or smaller person could fit, although as stated, it is "shorter" and not as roomy. Cost of materials was around $45.

Lastly, I have a creature crate, also made of softer pine. I believe it is sized somewhere between 2' and 3' squared. Who knows what scary things you can make pop out of it? Cost of materials was around $30.

Each was designed with lighting in mind, as you can see below. Small, intentional spacing in the construction of each allows for light and/or fog to escape, creating a mysterious vibe.

As you can see, these are handcrafted from scratch and had some quality time and effort spent on them. Each would be an authentic addition to any haunt. All original screws and hinges are still present and ready for assembly. I will gladly perform a reassembly for an additional $12 on each.

Please PM your offers and/or requests for more details/information if you are interested. I most definitely will not ship these, pick-up only. I am located in Northeast Ohio, nearby the city of Mentor. Thanks for looking!

Those are really nice coffins. Just to clarify, is the "cost of materials" amount quoted what you are asking for these?

Thanks, Ween! The materials cost is a starting number. Anyone who's interested can be the judge of what they think the additional time, effort, measurements, cuts, etc are worth. All in all, I believe the 3 pieces took about 4 or 5 days to complete.
