Happy Halloween!
The corn is starting to turn brown in the fields, and the nights are getting longer. Almost time for my favorite holiday.
I finally figured out how to make realistic glass eyeballs and started selling them on etsy.com (http://www.etsy.com/shop/hotworks). Right now I have a full round eyeball that has a vortex spiral on the back side listed for $25, and a half-round paperweight for $20. The first one I put up sold in a few days, but if these two are gone when you read this I will likely have more listed.
I can do custom work like double iris, solid white casing, transparent red on the back, etc, for a little extra. I do custom blacksmith work as well, so if you need a brutal meat hook (not exactly food safe) etsy is setup to request and sell custom work. I would estimate $25 plus shipping for a hand hammered 18" meat hook made from single piece of 3/8" steel with an offset L handle, or $35 for one with a wooden T handle. This isn't my job, I'm just trying to cover expenses for my hobby. These are really fun to make and look at.
