In the description, the seller has posted a question from a bidder. One of the things they asked is if that is the Don Post version of Stabbo. What other version is there? How are they different? I have one, and I'm pretty sure it's Don Post. I wonder what the one Spirit/Spencer's had about three years ago was...

I don't recall the name of the company, but they were made by a smaller, independent prop company and sold for closer to $400. I saw them at a tradeshow and asked about the difference. If I remember correctly, they licensed Stabbo to Don Post and the materials used were cheaper and they had less detail, although for the most part they looked the same.

That makes more sense now. I have seen him for the $400 online before, and wonder why the store I bought him at retailed him at only $99.99. I wonder if this is the same case for Chip the dummy and Dead Debbie (the possessed girl.) I have Don Post versions of all three- and have seen all three for about $400 each online... I bet it is the same case. But now, why would the two companies make such similar products? The extent of my questions will never come close to all being answered!!!
