Thread: 2 things i need

last year i made my elect chair and now i want to really finish the project

1st i need to figure out how to run led's inside the tube's to the helmet and under the arm rest (never worked with them b/4)

2nd i need to figure out how to hack into the b/s fog machine controller


I want the lights and fog to go on (with the sander) at the push of a button

the fog machine has a control unit that turns red when the unit heats up and can either be left on full time or click on when you want the fog
(cheap ol party city unit)


any ideas

as far as the led lights go, you could get some chistmas light strings, not sure if they sell blinking ones, or you could put them on a light controller.

The fogger I am not real familiar with, but I think you can take the control box a part and the puch switch should have 2 wires across the swith, you cold solder a wire on each and run them to a relay that is in turn connected to a 110v plug that is then plugged into a power strip that turns on the lights and sander all at the same time.

oh one more thing, some foggers have to have down time, so it may not put fog out even when the fogger switch is pushed. I think the bigger and more expensive the fogger, the more often it is ready to fog.
