For those of you using power tools, to move PVC frames etc. How do you attach them to the pipe etc?
I asked in another spot and no luck.
thot this was a better place, so maybe get a few responses.
Thanks,
~{Autopsy}~
BTW: I'm possibly going to be using a jigsaw and a sawsall (reciprocating saw)

I'm sorry but I don't understand what you mean. Move PVC frames? Can you be more specific?

OK,
Picture let's say... a Sparky. Eelectric chair victim. Got a PVC frame with Pool Noodles and Jumpsuit on, ok.
Behind the chair, is a Jigsaw. Or sawsall, connected to the PVC Dummy. When triggered, the Jigsaw comes on and violently moves the frame forward and backwards, speed depending on how fast you have it set to. I see where folks have done it, but not sure how they connect the Saw, to the PVC frame. Saw is mounted to the chair, to be stable. And the blade holding mechanizm in the saw, is connected to lets say the spine. And it moves only the dummy.
does that help?
Thanks
I figure I'll have to fab a bracket or something and screw it to the PVC on one end, and be thin and small enough to screw down into the jigsaw.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking too. That or drill a large hole in the blade of the sawsall and connect your fittings to that. I would first sand down the teeth for safety's sake.

could you put a pvc tee and then an extension peice of pvc on the back of the dummy and screw the saw blade to it?

You know, I've never tried to drill tool steel, and most blades are hardened to the point that drilling them is super difficult. Only assuming anyways.
I'm still working on it. Haven't touched it. Been working on Captain Howdy, My Witch and my spare of the moment Zombie.
If and when I figure it out, I'll post it here and put a small tut thread out JIC someone else finds it helpful.
My new thought, just now is... flat aluminum stock, that I can drill a hole to tighten into the Power Tool, then just bolt a round clamp to it and the PVC.
We'll See...
