I am wondering myself since this is the first time I own a house before it was the barracks then a apt.
I was thinking of using this http://www.heartlandamerica.com/brow...66127&&DL=HWH9
i have a lantern candle lamp, found some colored leds, and I got out of the Marines with a big box of glow sicks aswell x)
Lets hear what the pros have to say!

I found these cheap (for outdoor lanterns) at the following link: http://www.wholesalemart.com/Wholesa...rn-p/13244.htm
They also have colored glass and are enclosed which means i don't have to use LED lights. I have bad luck with the light being to lite with LED in the past. Plus, candles give off that cool flicker. Anyways, i will hang the lanterns on shepards hooks.

Personally I'm fondest of spotlights at very low angles so they cast very long grave shadows. Red blue and black overlapped produce a lot of effect for little money and effort. Anything underlit/bottom lit is creepy by default. Little portable strobes set around complete this simple effect and give so many different looks. I like tea lights also and lanterns. Being an old theater major I realized early on that the simplest display lit correctly looks 10 times better... just 2 cents worth. Cait

I use a spot light with that has a stake on it. Screw in a bulb, and it makes a great sort of spot light style. I use it for my tree hanging "ghoul". See my pictures from last year in one of my threads to see what I mean.

This is one of my favourite links on lighting at Skull & Bone. Really got me thinking about warm and cool contrast.

I'm stuck with my display lighting too. I'v wanted to add colored floods but can't decide. I'm not even sure were to look. I'v been told lowes but they have sollar and that's not what I want. I also don't want to buy offline for the simple fact that if I don't like them it will take longer to return them.
halloween is a super cool holiday.
