Thread: Baby oil and Compressed air fog?

My dad did some research on foggers and he said some people would use baby oil and pump compressed air into it and it would fog. Has anyone else heard of this or tried it?

Said he also found they stopped using it indoors because people would suffocate from it! But said too that it lasts a crazy long time. Like 2 litres would last 10 years or something crazy like that. If it works out, I wish I could run it to my MIB but I would need like 200ft of air hose, which is unreasonable, but it would be used in an outdoor setting so no fear of satisfaction.

I would think Baby Oil has too many additional additives( ingredients) in it to be safe. Never heard of spraying compressed air at it!!! sounds interesting...but I'm not going to try it!
I know you can make fog "fluid" by using pure glycerin mixed with distilled water...but never heard of a compressed air - baby oil combination.

I had no idea you could use glycerin to make fog.

Yet another reason to love this place!!

Haha, well he said he read something about mineral oil and it somehow clicked in his mind that baby oil would work??

This must be what my old man was talking about! He's dying to give it a try - if/when we do I'll be sure to record it for everyone.
