    Default looking for giant bat tut – 07-26-2010,01:23 AM


    Hope I got this in the right place. I had an idea for halloween games, but I need a giant bat. Anyone have any suggestions or know where I can find a tutorial?

    paper mache for the body. Although I don't think Stolloween has a giant bat, you should check out his website for some construction ideas anyways. He has a ton of great info.

    For the wings use wire for a frame and tissue paper over it then cover with lots of layers of elmers glue. (I made dragon wings like this)

    How big a bat? I found a pretty good size one that is on a sort of wire base and is covered with what looks a lot like some creepy cloth. It is pretty cool. I found it a GW, so don't know the source.
