Hello,
This is my first post (newbie here) but I have done a lot with Halloween. Mostly stationary stuff but now I am getting into more and more pneumatic stuff. I have just a simple 120vAC solenoid hooked up to a homemade PVC Piston Ram-rod controlled by a box with a light switch. When you turn the light switch on, the solenoid opens letting air in the piston rising the prop. Then when the light switch is off, the solenoid closes and a bungee cord forces the piston down and air out the self-tapping saddle valve. My question is how can i make a light and sound go on when i flip the switch?? Is it possible without the DMX system and other stuff. I am more a flip the switch man than motion censored computer stuff.
All help is appreciated.
Thanks

I'm thinking the easiest route would be this little controller. I have heard really good things about it: http://www.frightprops.com/FrightPro...ct.asp?ID=0912

Here's a pretty good source for cheap air cylinders - https://www.surpluscenter.com/air.asp?catname=air
PVC air cylinders are scary dangerous
Nostalgia isn't what it used to be...
