Looking to make a Toxic Barrel Dunk Tank for my Carnevil Haunt this year and was hoping to get some input. I have several toxic barrels (Goldies Toxic waste barrels - Goldie's Toxic Waste Barrels want to set up a blucky that would wave his arms as he falls into one of the barrels and then resets. Possibly just something that drops him into the barrel and then pulls him back up. I am on a budget and am relatively inexperienced when it comes to working with motors. Any suggestions?

    • Does it have to be automated?
    • Is he falling in on his own?
    • Are the TOT's doing something to dunk him?
You could just simply do it manually with a pull cord that a behind the scenes actor could pull to reset him. The latch could be a simple gate latch. All easily do able and easy on the pocket book.

    Or

A lever mechanism made from wood. Again manual but easy to make.

If automated maybe a windshield wiper motor and a crank arm. Again not entirely sure of the motion of interaction of this prop but some
    thoughts non-the-less

In response to the questions, I would like the blucky/dunking to work on its own. Almost like its being dipped into the barrels. No interaction required.
