I tried making this once before but quit, Now I am giving it a second chance.
I am trying to make a Velaciraptor costume. I want to make it as realistic as possible and a fully motion puppet inside.
They done this in walking with dinosaurs.

I have several ideas for the frame but I need help figuring out how to make cheap realistic and flexible skin.

and If you have some ideas for the frame as well I would love to hear them.

I need help like this. I figure to try making a costume like the Joust characters, in Goblin City, from Labyrinth, to be more like the Deadly Nadder, from How to train Your Dragon. Guessing to shape it from upholstery foam and 'skin' it with spray-adhesive, then shoot spray paint on it...
