Has anyone ever made a shrinking hallway, like the one in the movie "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory"? We have a couple of ideas on construction but was wondering if anyone has built one. If so... please share! Or direct me to other DIY information. Thanks!

the only shrinking type hall way we used in the past actually tapered,(top and sides). there are a number of problems with this, they take up useful room, once in you have to back up to get out.this causes a problem because you have other parties of people that get caught up to the first group.and it is against fire code.we would block ours off during inspections, and on busy nights.then we just eliminated it.
whats your name?I couldnt hear it very well last night when i was hiding under your bed!
Mommy! Mommy! I dont want to see Grandma!.. and she would scream back" shut up and keep digging!"

We have been drawing plans with the slopping/grade, but at the end, the wall gives way and opens up like a door when pushed on. No need for backing out, just walking through. Thanks for your info!!
