Default head in a jar

Hello all,

I have the tutorial on how to make the head in a jar, but can't find any 'faces' to print out. A year or so ago there was a site with faces to use, but i can't find it.

Does anyone know of any creepy faces i could print out to put in my jar?

thank you!

Todd

The other day I was bored and scanning some photos. Well long story short I scanned my whole head. Most scanners start from the right side so after you hit the scan button put your right ear on the glass and slowly rotate your head/face the same speed as the scanner. By the time your done you'll have scanned your entire face. Roll it up and put it in a bottle. I'm at work today so I dont have the file with me I'll post it tomorrow.

Also check out Featured Gallery If you look around this site you'll find face that are flattened I believe they call them masks. Good luck.

Default thanks!

thanks so much darkness. I will use that first one for sure, the second one would be way cool if it was more of a 'wrap around'....

Yours in the refrig looks cool. I will have to do that myself.

I need to make 3 or 4...need to find a place to buy jars. I have one that I saved from pickles.

thanks again,

Todd

No problem. My jar is a pickle jar I saved from work.

Here's a neat affect.

We went to the dollar store and bought a 4 pack of Highlighters for a buck . Not the yellow ones, but the NEON YELLOW ones...

Open it up, take the sponge out (btw, use gloves)

Fill the Pickle jar with water. Put the ink sponge in the jar and keep squeezing it while submerged. The water will get 'yellowish'

We went to a halloween shop and they had rubber masks 50% off. We bought some cheapo mask with facial hair for about 4 bucks. Drop that in to the pickle jar.

We put them under a black light. Because it has the yellow material in the water, it is black light reactive with a pretty dam scary face in there.

We got the idea from the head in the jar post here and my wife saw somewhere online about the hi-lighter.

Cool stuff... if I could only get a decent picture

Alright hear is the pic I took with my scanner the other day, yes handsome I know, I'm going to try it again and see if I can get closer to my eyes....maybe I'll go blind but its a risk I'm willing to take. Anyway this could easily be cleaned up with photoshop. Just another way to get it done.

I was wondering if I could get a link to the original tutorial on making a head in a jar. Much thanks in advance.
