Getting ready to create a hoard of little beasties which will invade my yard and house next halloween. I am looking for advice on what people have used for "outside" sculpting/creation materials.... initially I was thinking about sculpting heads, and hands and whatnot in paper and tape, and then laminating the crap out of it, but it occurred to me that this might be a good time to explore the wonders of latex and foam.
Anyone out there done any decent outdoors monsters? What did you use to make 'em?
Thanks in advance!

Oh yeah, mm and chicken wire is a great go-to for what you are describing.
This year I built a giant monster using pink foam and PVC: Build Outdoor Monster Props=

Where do you get the foam? Is that the insulation stuff from Home depot, or are you going to an actual company to get it.
The stuff I am planning is on a smaller scale. I want to make some little articulated goblins to crawl around my lawn.. think lawn gnomes, but evil....From ghoulies and ghosties

Neat idea have the evil gnome things. I get the pink foam from Home Depot. You can get the same stuff but in blue at Lowe's. It's what they use for insulating the sides of houses. Comes in 4' x 8' sheets.
It's up to you on how you want to build it. The chicken wire/mm would be good for static items but trickier for articulated ones. Not even sure the foam/PVC would be good for articulated items. Guess it depends on how it moves.
