I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how I can make a prop that looks like a giant maggot about the size of a human baby... any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

Sure thing, just take a pair of pantyhose cut off the legs, fill one leg with rice or sand, put rubber bands around it to create those little segments and then place the second pantyhose leg over that one. Spray paint a black dot on one end and there you have it. If you want a fleshier one then coat it with liquid latex.

Thanks! I'll definitely try that. I tried making one out of clay but it ended up looking like a loaf of bread. lol

Or if you want a lighter version (both in color and in weight), and you don't want to deal with the latex, use white pantyhose and fill it with fiberfill stuffing (just buy a couple of cheap, large stuffed animals from your local thrift store. For the segments, use elastics or string to bring that part in (if you use light color string and tie it on the bottom, you won't have to use the second pair of pantyhose overtop).

You could even put a bumble ball or one of the balls that rolls around by itself to give it a little movement.
