Thread: Connecting a PIR to DMXorcist

I am trying to use this pir, http://www.hauntedvillage.com/efx.html, with the DMXorcist box. I am not sure if this PIR will work with the DMXorcist box or if I am leaving something out in the VSA program. If anyone has used a PIR with the DMXorcist I would really appreciate the help

there is no connection information available for that pir, it looks like its a module specifically made for their own systems.

it probably can be used but you need to identify the power and signal wires, first you will need to connect it to a power supply, then you will probably need to connect the signal to a relay to convert the voltage output to a dry contact......

this is not the best pir to be using, id be looking for something like a home security pir, something with an internal battery, and an onboard double acting relay
