All,
I have been searching this forum and have been trying to find anyone that has done the "hollow mask" effect. For all you Haunted Mansion fans, the hallow mask effect is done with the busts that appear to follow you when you walk by. I know that if you had a bust you could make a mold of the face and then make a fiber glass "mask".
Anybody tried it?

I don't recall that particular effect posted on here, but I haven't been all over the forum. You'd need to either have a vacuform or be good with casting. HM's are vacuformed last I heard.
I'd be interested to see what responses you get.

Party City had some thin walled 3d relief busts and faces, not sure if they still do, but those would work!
And here is hollow-half bust that might do the trick. Amazon.com: Haunted Bust Prop: Kitchen & Dining
