Haunted Cloth
http://www.hauntedprops.com/product-p/60179.htm
What an absolute disaster this product is! What is the problem? The dye. I hung some of this up in a bathroom just to test it out, when I put it away I noticed my hands were completely black. It tooks days of scrubbing under my fingernails to get the stains out. Not only that, weeks later I've noticed the dye is everywhere! All over my carpets, all over my tile floors, I must have tracked it around the house unknown to me. I've been cleaning for days and still can't get it out of my carpets and between my tiles.
I'm going to have to rent a carpet cleaner or possibly hire a professional cleaner to clean my house! All for $5.77.

Here's a more economical source for spooky (cheese) cloth. Their remnant bags are an incredible value, though it does require you to dye it yourself. I'm sure that you can do a much better job than our friends at Haunted Cloth

The thing that gets me about those store bought "spooky cloth" things is that's all they are, cheese cloth dyed black/grey/green/whatever color.
A pack of cheesecloth in the grocery store isn't that expensive & you can easily & cheaply "spookify" it yourself.Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers, the best damn little band you should be listening to!

I've got/used LOTs of creepy cloth with no problems like that but mine came from local stores...They must have got a bad batch that wasn't cured/dried right or just a cheap dye was used....You should go to that web page and leave a review since no one else has left any yet to warn people....ZR

Oh - that stinks.... YOu could wash the cloth in your machine to get most of the dye out. Still will work and be very creepy.
I too use regular grocery/cooking cheesecloth - and love the bulk purchase idea from the sites mentioned. I don't even bother to dye it. The white cloth looks great under black lite and I can shred/tear it to my hearts content - then hang in the windows on cafe curtain tension rods. Really works great." TO SERVE MAN " ... Contact HP and let them know..they are a great to deal with and have really helped me out in the past. I'm sure they would appreciate knowing at the least.
Walmart was carrying black cheesecloth for .50 a yard I think..if I recall Hancock fabrics had a similar price as well.

Soak it in a bucket of salt water... it will cure the die.. then you can use it & you wont have black ink iwn your washing machine to ruin you next batch of clothes.. & if you use your macinne run a cycle of just water & soap after.. ust in case
