    Hello everyone,

I've been lurking here for the last year or so and I want to say thank you to everyone for the invaluable information I've taken from here. All of that information is the reason for my post. Last season I started book marking and subscribing to threads and different sites that I found here. This season I started going back to my dozens and dozens of old book marks and found that it was a little hard to stay organized.

Fortunately I just found Evernote (no, I'm not affiliated with them, just a big fan). It's a note taking tool that has helped me stay organized for this Halloween season. The notes allow me to clip your words of wisdom directly into a note that I can then tag as PROPS, RECIPE, DECORATIONS, TO BUY, COSTUMES, GUEST LIST or anything else I want. It even lets me copy images directly into my notes. This way if I need a picture of a prop or something, it's right in my note. Now when I read the "What did you buy today" thread and find something I need to buy from Lowe's, Big Lots or Spirit, I have a shopping list with a picture.

Two of the best things are:

    1. The Internet Explorer/Firefox plugin - You can simply highlight text or pictures in a web page and make a note out of it. I've converted all of my old book marks this way. I just highlight the important information from the page I want, click the Evernote button and it puts the info into a note along with a link back to the original page.

    2. Mobile access - Evernote is available for iPhone, iPad, Blackberry etc. Now when I'm out shopping I can just pull up my Dollar Tree note and see what I need to buy.

Sorry for making my first post so long, but I'm hoping this might make someone else's life a little bit easier. I know my party planning has gotten a little more simplified thanks to Evernote. (http://www.evernote.com)

I guess while I'm posting, I might as well ask a question as well: What are your favorite web sites for Halloween, besides Halloween Forum of course? What sites do you find you use the most to order decorations, make props, has the best tutorials, etc...?
