Anyone ever see or own a silicone mask from Ill Willed Productions?
http://www.illwilled.com/
They tell me that most of their latex masks are also available in silicone for around $300. Needless to say that's a great price.
Unfortunately, they have no silicone pics for me to look at before I buy.
Thanks

Just got the mask in today....I was HIGHLY disappointed in it. The masks and effects on his site are AMAZING for some reason to me this mask fell short of what was shown on the site. I've been collecting for a loooong time, and this just didn't hit the mark for me. Was a little on the large size for a silicone mask, and looked a little rushed. Some paint was missing from some areas. I tried emailing and calling him back but have gotten no answer as of yet.

I am so sorry to hear that, to me it looks like they tried too hard to get the order out on time and just messed it up. I would want something of decent quality late then something under par on time.
We stopped checking for monsters under our beds when we realized they were inside of us

You're the second person to say something like this about this company. A few weeks ago there was an auction from one of their customers who was just trying to get some money back on the cheaply made mask they got. They certainly aren't make a very good impression on people and that will definitely show in their customer sales...
It's a shame people do that to customers.

Ive talked to another customer who had ordered 3 masks, all showed up 2 1/2 months later and where more than a disappointment to him also. I filed a paypal claim, and cannot get an answer from him by email nor phone.

Illwilled Studios response.... –
08-11-2010,11:07 AM
Hey guys. I saw the coorespondence going on, and wanted to take an opportunity to respond. I am the owner/operator of Ill Willed Studios. I see that there has been some question as to the quality of our products. First to Glockink, I do apologize that the silicone mask was not up to your mask collecting standards. We have used them for some time in film and television, and they without fail translate extremely well. Also, the low price we offer the silicone line at is due to a fairly simple construction. it isnt gell filled, or mesh reinforced, but it is made with a highly durable silicone that can handle damage. As for paint being rubbed off, I dont see how that could be acurate. The silicone painting process infuses the color with the silicone. What you may see is exposed area of what was the intrinsic silicone color, but that was certainly a purposeful aesthetic. We have hundreds of orders monthly, and on average, i would honestly say that an upper 90% are estatic and reorder with frequency, where a good 80% are at very least satisfied completely with their purchase. Every one of our masks are maticulously hand made, not mass produced. I DO however validate that there have been problems in the recent past...I tend to be away from the shop on set working quite often, and on remote occasion, I have returned to Ill Willed to find complaints of quality in my inbox. It has been very few and far inbetween, but I will validate its occurance. In accordance with these hapenings, I took the appropriate actions within the structure of the business to insure that the artists handling my orders while I am away are on par with my personal quality guarantee. Bottom line, 2009 was a start up year for Ill Willed as a provider to the public and haunt industry, and it has been a prosperous uphill climb, but not with out restructuring. Lastly, let me go on record saying that ANY person potentially unhappy with an order is encouraged to contact me. I will without question work out something, either fixing the problem, or giving free merch for their troubles. I am in this to make the things I love, and to make people happy. Thats it....One final note...lol...The Ebay thing, I know this will likely sound like an excuse, but that guy is a nutcase....Ebay even suspended his sales as a result. The guy couldnt have been THAT unhappy with our work, because what set him off initially, was his back door demands that I sell him bulk amounts of my product at severely discounted prices, otherwise he would "bash me on ebay"! I said "no". He said "fine...here I go"...lol Like I said....nutcase. All this being said, I would like to publicly apologize for any lack of happiness from my customers, and even currently, I encourage anyone with issue to contact us for resolution. Glockink, I got you covered buddy. I have something special coming your way. I get back to the shop on Monday. Hang tight.....and Front Yard Fright....come on....lol I love my customers! Happy Haunting ya'll.
