Hey all-

I just recieved my skulltronix yesterday, and wanted to post a review for anyone thinking about buying one.
I bought the entire package (skull, lights, skeleton) and was VERY impressed with the quality of it all. It hooked up fairly easily (being that I have no experience with anything like this). Due to my lack of computer knowledge, I had some problems getting the computer to run the skull. I called Jerry, who answered RIGHT away. I asked him if he had a minute to help me... he said he had as much time as I need, and proceded to walk me through it step by step. Not only that, but he stayed on the phone with me the ENTIRE time (which was probably about 25 minutes since my computer is slow and I had to restart it a few times) until I got the skull AND lights working perfectly. (He also proceded to laugh at me when my skull first started moving and I yelled HOLY CRAP!!!) Jerry is one of the nicest people to talk to and was a huge help.
The servos do make a little noise (as I expected), but can be drowned out very easily by the soundtrack. The price tag for this animatronic is WELL worth it, and I would gladly pay it again if I ever need another one. The video online doesn't do it justice... this thing is AMAZING in person... almost creepy when you're alone working on it. The skull moves very smoothly, and has an unbelievable range of motion to it.
If you have been considering buying one... DO IT!!! Jerry told me he has updated his site and is trying to build 20 more this year, since he now has help and a bigger facility. This is definatly the best haunt prop available, and will be the highlight of our attraction.

I just received my skull with lights and LOVE IT! I also have no experience with talking skulls or computer knowledge. I called Jerry and he walked me thru it step by step. This prop is worth the money and if I could only have one thing this would be it.

Sooo jealous you guys got your Skulltronix! I ordered and waited, but Jerry said there was a board availability problem. He said it has shipped finally, but it has been a week and no arrival. I too fear I will have to call to get it going, but hope I don't have to bother him. Yes, indeed, Jerry seems to be a good guy. The only downside is when it arrives, I will have to dance around what it cost with my wife. Not looking forward to the inquisition. Good luck, guys!

I think you will find Jerry would much prefer you to call him get some help than struggle.

Thanks Phoenix_UK for the forum info! Finally got what I hope is a for sure ship date of last Saturday. Been a little confusing, but Jerry said they are back on track. Looking forward to an interesting forum for all dealing with the Skulltronix set-up.

Seems funny reading these old posts.....I remember back when it came out and I wanted one SOOOO bad!....I finally got a Rev 5 this year and it's everything I thought it would be....Can't wait to finally unleash "THE SEANCE" on my friend's/family at the party this year.....ZR
