Hi,
here a few words by me about my experience with Cowlacious Designs. Last year I placed my first order with them, a skull with the audio driver board. Within a few days I had it in my hands and I was blown away. Very good price and it works just great. A few more orders followed, Cave Eyes etc. And again fast shipping and superior quality.
This year I was looking for the 2007 ISD Recorder bur Carl told me that the 25xxx series Chip is not longer available. But since I got an audio driver board from 2007 with the 25xxx series chip on it he would look around his shop if he could find an old recorder to sell to me. With my next order, I received a free 25xxx series recorder. !!!
My verdict on Cowlacious Designs, fast shipping, great support, very low prices and superior quality. And the best for last, they ship APO ;-)

Greetings from across the great beyond!
A couple of weeks ago I ordered a talking skull from cowlacious and it arrived a couple of days ago. It took a while to get here with customs and all but I'm very happy about it. So far its put a smile on alot of the people I showed it and I know it's going to complete my halloween display this year. Very happy about it! Good service from Carl, nice product and not expensive!

Ordered another sound board and some accessories this year, it came amazingly fast, and works like a charm.

Just ordered the new ST300 board and servo kit, I have a bucky that keeps trying to tell me something, but of course he can't, yet. Had a bit of a wait from the old ST200 to the ST300, but based on what I have heard, there are some great improvements. Once I get it, figure it out and give it a run, (or more likely need help), I'll post back.

I have always had good success with Carl's products. They're easy to work with and dependable. I've been using them now for 4 years. The new updated products are even better than the first ones.

I had problems with my two ST-200 boards. They were in the first batch and didn't work very well. Carl exchanged one board and the other one now has a broken voltage regulator. I am hoping the ST-300 is up to snuff. I am looking to order more but only if the product works as it should.

Well, it took longer for me to be able to make time to post this reply than I thought. It took 4 days for the ST300 to arrive, then about an hour of fretting about putting it together, 5 minutes to put it together, no time to log on to hedstrom.net to get sound. A couple of hours playing with Audacity until I got the hang of it, it is now a snap.
Here is the first demo.

skull movements –

Hi,
I noticed your skull is travling too far and not quite in sync. It just needs some adjustments. You may have to play around with the pots.
Here's a link to check and see how he makes the movements smoother.
Keep up the good work.
