Just wanted to report on my experience with this product. Although expensive (349.00) it worked perfectly. My only issue was a blown fuse, but that was because I had too much running to it. Once I ran an extension cord inside, it worked wonderfully. Set up was easy (I'm not that handy...) and I was able to email customer support with questions; they would reply the same day. I didn't use the dimmer, but I would highly recommend this product. One thing I would invest in: quality speakers. I think I blew mine out...but it was fun scaring the kids with every booming lightning strike. If you want more info: http://www.lights-alive.com/ctrl_firefly.html

Thanks for the review. I am looking for a lightning simulator and I am leaning towards purchasing the FireFly. If anyone else is using it, please post a review.
