We hosted our 4th annual Boo Bash for my daughter, son, their classes and parents. We start with pumpkin carving, then they walked through the curtains and fog for a costume contest, did a scavanger hunt and ended with a hayride. When it gets dark, we put candles in all of the pumpkins. I also handed out purple and orange glo necklaces. The kids love going through the gemmy haunted house! It looks really cool at night and has great sound effects. I have pics of the buffet and bar but it was taken before we put all of the food out. It is such a huge success every year. I will try to attach the pictures.

That gemmy haunted house looks super cool! And all the added touches you put in to this party. What a blast! Curious what you did for the scavenger hunt.

Thanks Shadowless. The scavenger hunt was fun. I made clue cards in purple for the 6 yr olds and drew the clues on them. For the older kids, I made black cards with written clues. Each age group was told which color cards they were to find. I had clues like "They say the bats come out at night, but don't be overcome with fright. A bat hangs in a barn somewhere, and your next clue is hidden there." I just did a google search for some clue ideas, and came up with some on my own. The treasure at the end were those Martha Stewart witch's broom treat bags. It's a lot of fun and I even have a BOO bar for the adults with wine, cheeses and fruits, all with Halloween labels.
