Heres my version of 'tempt your fate' my Witches Wingding is tomorrow night so I had to come up with something in a hurry. I put some ping pong eye balls in a small cauldron along with some cotton balls, spiders and other slimy things to make up a witches brew. I hot glued a cloth over the top leaving only enough room for a hand to reach inside. I made a couple of the eyeballs black with a sharpie marker. Then I made this sign to sit beside the cauldron. I have a bowl of moon shine soaked cherries on one side and a basket of small gifts on the other. The wording needs some work but its the best I could do in a hurry hopefully my guests wont care haha

Also, whats the ratio of good vs bad fates? 50-50? 40-60? or does it matter?

If this is what you come up with when you are in a hurry I would love to see what you spend a lot of time on! Love the sign, and the poison cherry idea. Will it be on the honor system?

We still have the Boo Bash on Halloween weekend and the theme is a Witches Ball, so I might give this a try.

Thank you This will be my 2nd witches wingding (3rd if you count my 12 yr old daughters) the kids had to 'scoop a poop' from kitty litter (grape nuts and tootsie rolls). The adult party had brain hemmorage shots. It was an awesomely fun game but I got tired of making shots, I think the cherries will be easier. On hindsight I should have called the cherries shrunken apples or something more witchy.
It will be on the honor system, its a small party and a small house. Im setting it up in the kitchen and theres always someone in the kitchen. I thought about putting a bell beside the cauldron to 'ring for good luck' that would alert everyone that someone is about to tempt their fate.

Brilliant! That's so clever! I am struggling with games for my party. All adults and going to do the tempt a fate game but need more than just one game really (

Love the idea and love the "ring for good luck" idea as well! That will be a good way to get the whole crowd involved!

I have a Halloween skeletal hand door knocker that they have to press if they are about to play Tempt your Fate. It make a loud knocking sound and everyone can hear it and watch or listen.

I had 2 parties back to back so Im just now getting to upload photos. I put them all in one album and of course my daughters (the bumble bee) party pics show up first lol but our wingding pics are in there. We had an absolute blast, I wish Id taken more pics but we were just having too much fun for photos! haha anyway heres a link to the album...
