Thread: Prizes?

I was just wondering, what do you give as prizes for party games at your Halloween parties? I'm going to have a few small games and one larger game so I'm going to try to ge a few very inexpensive prizes, and one better prize. I want my big prize to be something people will really want to win, but still not too expensive. I would just like to get some ideas.

This is my 2nd party and this year i made trophies .. easy snags from the $1 store (candle holders and halloween decor), used gorilla glue to glue them together and then painted them gold/silver .. amazing how good you can make something so cheap look. I got the idea from someone else on here that went to the $1 store and got those severed hands/feet and painted them gold. It was brilliant.

I also give out gift cards .. LOL this is terrible but i always have leftover gift cards from whatever that i never use every year and I give those out and people are also always giving some to me to use. I always call the # and check that they have the correct amount still on them.

But fun like Starbucks or AMC gift cards are fun. I do both gift cards and trophies cause the gift cards are a give-away and trophies cause my guests are so the type that demand trophies and like to keep them and have the bragging rights.

You can also buy a bottle of wine people might want to win or some fun halloween decor or snacks. There's another post on here about Bath and Body works stuff. So it depends on your guests. You know them best .. what would they like?

Here's my trophies thus far .. the "ball one" i threw out and I'm doing a different one (for my fates game) but the others were all $1 things that i put together. I still need to put the plaques on them though

another prize could be scratch off lottery tickets or mini liquor bottles. I gave out a few mini Patrons last year. They were a hit!

I love the trophies! I may do that for my little games.

They are so easy to make .. go to the $1 store and find random things you want to be the trophy part, then go to the candle aisle and mix and match candle holders, cups, stands with the trophy toppers you chose. its so easy I will do this every year.
