Thread: Help with horror characters

Hello everyone. I was wondering if I could pick your brains.

The ice-breaker at my party is going to be a game. The game goes like this:

Everybody will be given a sheet of paper with a horror character on it, and a list of prohibited words. The idea is that they have to get people to guess who their character is without using any of the prohibited words. So, for instance, if the character was Dracula, the prohibited words might include: Vampire, Blood, Bram Stoker, Coffin.

Only I'm having trouble thinking of characters and word lists!

If any of you would like to help out with any suggestions, I'd be really grateful.

I've decided to change the format slightly so instead of having prohibited words, it's going to be a 'yes and no' game. So the guests have to guess who they are, by asking questions which can only be answered 'yes' or 'no'. So the guests can ask "Are you a character from a movie?" and the person playing can only answer "yes" or "no."

I'm bumping this thread for more suggestions hopefully. I'm planning this for my icebreaker and having a hard time thinking of characters that everyone will know!

how about like the game they play in the bar scene in the movie "Inglorious Bastards"

get a monsters name written on a card, stick it to your forehead, and you have to ask people questions to figure out who you are, because of course, they can see who you are, but u cant.

fun party game, especially with 21 and over crowd and a few adult beverages
