HI everyone,
I need tips/tricks/suggestions ...
We will be throwing a Halloween Birthday Bash for my daughter, who will be 9. The party will start at 3 PM - I didnt want to make it a "late night" for some of the kids invited.
For Games and Fun I have planned: a costume contest (winners in each catagory will get a "trophy",) a pinata filled with candy goodness, "Ghost poop" races (with cotton balls), Guess the Candy Corns in the jar, etc. My son will tell the tale of "Poor Joe". Then, of course, opening presents.
For food I have planned: pulled pork sandwiches, a veggie tray, a fruit tray, salsa/chips, dip/chips, baked beans. A spider cake for the birthday cake. Does anyone have any suggestions for "food names" for the above? Or any other food suggestions?
I'm trying to balance scary with fun & cute. We are also really working on a strict budget. And pretty much everything needs to be homemade or relatively cheap.
If anyone has any tips/tricks/suggestions that would be great.
Thank you!

oooohhh, cute trophies for kids! I'm gonna have to use this next year. This year, I made award ribbons.
