My big halloween party is being postponed until next year. We are desperately trying to get out of this house and have been packing stuff up. The kids and my husband think it best to wait till next year. I am keeping all the stuff I bought this year so next year should not be as costly.

Aw, I'm sorry you're down about it. Do what you can for Halloween this year, and just think - you have over a year to plan the best party ever for NEXT year.

To many partys on the 23rd so ours was moved to the 30th.

I agree, still celebrate this year have fun,and plan for your big party next year ! but for sure still celebrate with what you can !!!!

Yeah, you can take the time to make it perfect. You'll be in a better frame of mind to enjoy it, AND you can postpone that after-party letdown for a year (It'll probably help with this year's post-Halloween blues too!) It's a win-win!

my '07 year was like that. we had to move and had no decor up. i couldn't stand it and at the last minute i put out a skeleton and a pumpkin...

look at it in a positive light, do something fun on party day that you woudn't have gotten to do. also, you do have all this time to plan and acquire for next season.

Awwww I feel for ya! I agree with everyone else, always next year and I like what zombiefrac said to do something fun on that day!
