It seems that I have an abundance of gin and no one here drinks it. I would love to find a tried and true recipe for a punch that uses gin as the alcohol. I have decided to do an alcoholic punch for the WITCHY party and thought I might try something to use up the surplas.

I used to drink something back in early college that we called Lemon Blossoms and it was gin based, but I can't remember the ingredients.

    So, help me out HF.

I semi-bartend. I would say Gin would mix well with Lemon based drinks.

E.g. Mix your Gin with some Lemon and Lime Soda, Sweet & Sour (It's a mixer), splash(es) of Lemon and splash(es) of Lime. You'd end with a Lemonade type drink.

Could even try adding a little Pomegranate Liquer if you wanted to give it a red/pink color along with some White Canberry & Peach juice as well as Peach Schnapps and Triple Sec.

    So all in all:

    -Lemonade-ish Drink:
    -Gin
    -Sweet & Sour
    -Lemon and Lime Soda
-Lemon Juice (A couple splashes depending on volume)
-Lime Juice (A couple splashes depending on volume)

    -Pink Lemonade-type drink:
    -All of the above
    -White Cranberry with Peach Juice
-Pomegranate Liquer (Bols makes a cheap version, used for coloring primarily)
    -Triple Sec
    -Peach Schnapps

I've tried both of these before and are big hits when I throw parties. Generally people request the second mix more. Also, if you end up not using the gin, this works REALLY well with Rum. Silver Rum particularly - I mix with Castillo Silver Rum. 1L bottles run around $9.00 and 750mL run around $8.00 so they are really cheap Rum-wise, but well made.
