    Hello!
We are having our invites made by Pdcollins on here (they are AMAZING, btw) and I was wondering where you all buy your envelopes for custom invites? I want to address them this weekend so was hoping to find somewhere local to buy them...instead of waiting for an online order to come in. Michales, Hobby Lobby?? Any thoughts?? thanks!

What size? Depending on the size kinkos and staples both have an invite section with envelopes. I order mine online though.

It depends on how much money you want to spend, I think. There are some great Halloween-themed envelopes online and in the stationary stores, or you can just go for the regular ones. When I order mine (usually from Vistaprint or Overnight Prints or something similar) I get the envelopes at the same time.

You could also try a local dollar store if you want to keep costs low - I know the ones we have here have an extensive party section with everything you could imagine for entertaining.

I just got mine at staples. The 4 x 9 size in a copper color. They had blue ,green, pink etc. They were not a solid color but will work for my toe tag invites. I got 50 for about 12 bucks. They had some of the square sizes in a few colors but they were 10 for around $4 each? I think.

square requires more postage, I'd get the rectangle size even if the card doesnt fill a strip of it, like Hallmark offers you the option with their square cards to use a standard size envelope. Depending on how many, I'd look at a bulk stationery shop.

I was just gonna post this.

I learned this the hard way at work one year.

We send out about 300+ square calendars every year before Christmas & I knew they'd cost more because they were heavier so I added extra postage for the extra weight & thought "No problem! I'm done!"

    Every.

    Single.

    One.

    Came.

    Back.

It was my first year doing it & I didn't know that since they were SQUARE I had to add another 10¢-15¢ or so in postage. It was a HUUUUGE pain in the ass. I had to order extra tapes for the machine, then run out the extra postage on peel & stick tapes, stick 'em on every one & send 'em all out again.

Ever since then I've taken one to my local post office down the block from home & have them tell me what it's gonna cost, just to make sure I've got the right amount when I send them out. We have a big Pitney Bowes postage meter but I don't trust myself anymore & would rather be safe than sorry because I could NOT handle another 300+ calendars coming back to me again.
